The imperative . D.

"Prayer strikes the wining blow,
service is simply picking up the
pieces." S.D. Gordon.

I always believe and maintain the
battles wan in the natural must
first gain the victory in the realm
of the spirit. From the spiritual to
the natural.

Ours is a spiritual warfare. It is also
a fight to the death. The adversary
is in to kill you. He comes to kill
 and to destroy, total elimination.
1 Pet:5:8, John 10:10, Eph:6:12.

Given that account, the challenge for us, is to prepare ourselves for the warfare, Eph 6: 10-18  the ideas is to put on the whole
armor of God, walk in the spirit, so we would not be over taken by the flesh

The nature of our warfare, the relentlessness, the audacity, the objectives of the
opposing foe, make it extremely imperative to be a people of prayer. Its value
and purposes cannot be underestimate.C.H. Spurgean.said this.  " I would
rather teach one man to pray than ten men to preach". Andrew Murray, the man

who mobilizes the Christian Church to pray will have make the greatest
contribution to World Evangelization in history ".
I should ask the question in closing here, are we having answers to prayers, if not,
why not? think it through partner, this is the moment we need it most.

That is my take for today. Our motto is " Think critically and pray strategically". so
long friends, live in victory through prayer in your walk of faith.

The imperative. C.

A matter of imperative, the moment is
now. The  timing could not have been
more appropriate. If it is not now
when? " I will therefore that men pray
everywhere, lifting up holy hands,
without wrath and doubting", 1 Tim:1,8.

" And he spake a parable unto them to
this end, that men ought always to pray,
and not to faint." Jesus.

In our quest for, and to maintain an healthy prayer life, one that get resulted, seeing God
answering our prayers. What time of tremendous joy , an fellowship with other member
of the believing community. On the other hand, the warfare get hotter, the violence
forces of darkness relentlessly hold men captive. Stand strong, do not let your guards
down. Here is a reminder from my heart to yours. "  Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewithye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked". Eph:6,16

That is my take for today. Note our motto: " Think critically and pray strategically."

The imperative. B.

You know some times, known or unknown
to us, our prayers do take on a lifestyle. A
pattern that allowed us to play with words,
that in return gives a false sense of security,
a happy feeling of  ourselves.  An so, this so-
called happy feelings, this pleasantry, by
which we approach our heavenly Father often
leave us empty, and God seem so far away.

This with the level of eloquence in which we
present ourselves, is drowning out the realism
that should be in our prayers. For that reason,
it is difficult to lay our soul bear before God,
so our heart can be touch.

It is his good pleasure to  hear and answer our
prayer, if we could only remove the mast from
our face, tell him the true state of our affairs,
then heaven will be in attendance to our prayer.

Lessons can be learn from the Old Testament Prophets, and the Psalms. What
treasure  to enrich our prayers with as we seek his will, enduring to live in
his will for our lives. Is this not our desire? Yes it is, So together we come,
in simple child like faith asking truly of him as we tell him the true
stories of ourselves, and the things we are asking of him an behalf of others.

"True prayer is measured by weight, not length. A single groan before God
may have more fullness of prayer in it than a fine oration of great length.
  C.H.Spargeon .

" Prayer is not monologue, but Dialogue, God's voice in response to mine is its essential
Andrew Murray.

That is my take for today. Note our motto: " Think critically and pray strategically ."
